Sales Forms Are Here! π
We just launched sales forms - a new way to collect important product details when you sell things, currently for special order-able products, soon for all. Now you can ask customers for exactly what you need to know about each product.
What does this mean? π€
Have you ever sold something and realized later you forgot to ask an important question? Those days are over!
Sales forms help you gather all the right info during checkout. If you sell doors, you can ask about which way they swing or what kind of handle the customer wants. For blinds, you might need to know window sizes or what style they prefer.
Right now, you can use two kinds of fields:
Text field: Short text boxes for quick answers
Paragraphs: Bigger text areas when customers need to write more
The best part? You can change these forms whenever you want by clicking on a row in the table!
Why is this important? π‘
Getting the right info the first time saves everyone time and headaches. Your customers will be happier because they'll get exactly what they ordered. Your team will be happier because they won't have to chase down missing details.
Sales forms make your receipts and orders more detailed too! All the information you collect shows up on receipts for customers. It also appears on purchase orders when you order products from suppliers.
Think about it - no more scribbling notes or trying to remember special requests!
What does this look like? π
Setting up sales forms is super easy:
Go to Admin β Product and scroll down to find "Sales forms"
Create forms with questions you need answered about specific products
Connect these forms to your products in the POS β Single Product Page β Settings tab
When someone buys that product, a window pops up asking for the details
All this info shows up on receipts and special order order forms automatically! β

Try it out today and let us know what you think! We're always looking for ways to make your selling experience smoother.
